Chemical Resistant Gloves

Chemical gloves are specially formulated to be highly resistant to acids and solvents. Barrier Gloves offer the highest chemical resistance of any glove available, while alcohol-coated PVA gloves are inert to many chemicals which quickly deteriorate natural rubber, neoprene, and PVC gloves. Sol-Vex® nitrile gloves are a cost effective laboratory standard, resistant to many commonly used chemicals. Chemi-Pro gloves offer the benefits of neoprene in a neoprene/latex blend for resistance to chemicals such as Ammonium Hydroxide and Dimethylformamide (DMF), which can cause damage to other gloves. solvex nitrile gloveSol-Vex® Chemical Resistant gloves by Ansell are reusable and made of a high-performance nitrile compound which provides an outstanding combination of strength and chemical resistance when exposed to aromatic and petroleum solvents, caustics and animal fats. These gloves are either unlined or have a soft cotton flock lining which absorbs perspiration and makes donning easier. Embossed, 11 mil, 13" long.

 

chemi-pro chemical glovesChemical Resistant Gloves, Chemi-Pro Ansell Neoprene/Latex Blend unsupported, Heavy-Duty gloves feature neoprene over natural rubber latex to provide increased protection against a wide range of chemicals. The gloves are 27 mil thick for extra ruggedness and durability, and the 13" length is longer than most standard gloves for added forearm protection. A recessed diamond-embossed pattern provides added grip on wet or dry surfaces, while a cotton flock lining absorbs perspiration and increases worker comfort. Chemi-Pro gloves are an economical, cost-saving substitute for higher-priced, heavy gauge nitrile and neoprene gloves. Caution: This product contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.

 

barrier glovesBarrier Gloves by Ansell offer the highest chemical resistance of any glove available, featuring a unique non-woven liner that absorbs perspiration and makes the gloves comfortable to wear, especially for extended periods. Ideal when used underneath a more dexterous glove such as the Sol-Vex Nitrile Glove. Barrier Gloves have superior chemical resistance than most other gloves but low maneuverability, so the addition of a more form fitting glove over the top allows for more precision and ease of movement.

 

pva chemical resistant glovesPVA Gloves by Ansell are alcohol coated and nearly inert to strong solvents, including aromatics, aliphatics, and chlorinated solvents—chemicals which quickly deteriorate natural rubber, neoprene, and PVC gloves. With PVA gloves, there is little absorption to cause swelling, and little extraction to cause shrinking. PVA gloves only weigh about half as much as neoprene-coated gauntlets, so they provide a high level of comfort. PVA also offers good resistance to snags, punctures, abrasion, and cuts. Excellent for handling strong organic solvents or working with epoxies. Caution: PVA coating is water-soluble. Do not use in water or water-based solutions.
